Children in Pakistan are mostly taught Urdu, English and their regional language while in the other parts of the world, a special focus is given to learning an additional foreign language such as Spanish, French or German and etc. The benefits of learning at least one additional foreign language are infinite in the long run and international world and seeing those, there is no harm if a child is taught so.

Children who are bi-lingual are way more ahead in terms of their cognitive skills. They have better memory and learn faster along with improved problem-solving and critical thinking skills that help them perform better in every walk of life.
2. Resource Access
When a child gets familiar with another language, he also learns about new people, traditions, culture and norms of that particular area that the language belongs to. This makes him more open to diversity and readily able to accept changes. They get to learn about their style of conversation and expression and their minds open up to new vistas of utilizing resources and acknowledging diversities.
3. Job Opportunities
English is still considered an international language but with major developments going on, other languages are now regarded on business and global level. A person who can speak two or more languages is readily hired because of the need for communication across borders, translation and interpretation. The charges are high for these kinds of jobs and the company is always on the lookout for such employees.
4. Mental Health Improvement
Bilingual children are most unlikely to develop Alzheimer’s disease since their brains are always doing the workout. It makes a mind stronger in terms of performance that lowers the chances of catching mental diseases in old age.
